Faith Formation

We have shifted from a more traditional "Sunday School" to a multi-generational opportunity on Sunday morning in Room 16.

The Calvary Speakeasy Class is being offered on a drop in basis and is going to tackle the tough questions. Attendees can even pose the questions they will cover in class! The class format will be a group discussion format.

We hope that you’ll join us to dig deeper into our faith through discussion and scripture!

Youth Group

Our group meets most Sunday nights from 4-6 pm in Room 204. We do a combination of a fun, mission, program, and worship EACH MONTH at Calvary.

Some examples of mission we've done this year are Care & Share, SouperBowl of Caring, community clean up, and work with the elderly! Programs have focused on learning about hunger in our own community, runaway teens, and the elderly in our community.

Mission Trips

One of the highlights of our year is going on mission trip each summer! For our summer 2019 trip, both middle and high school students will be attending a national United Methodist youth event in Kansas City, MO from July 10-14! This event will include group worship, service opportunities, bible study, discipleship, and FUN!

"Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.  Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfullness."  Colossians 2:7-9

I'm Dione Russell, one of the Faith Formation Directors here at Calvary. Welcome to our webpage!  We hope that you see something that might excite you about our program here at Calvary that is available to youth from 6th to 12th grade.

The boxes above will fill you in on some of the highlights, but click on our photo gallery, too, to see some of the fun stuff we are doing at youth group and during our mission projects.
