Calvary makes its facilities and resources available to a wide variety of groups as a way of serving a larger community and the world. Other groups of the congregation are also active in outreach ministry. United Methodist Women have a number of circles and raise funds to provide service for many outreach projects, both locally and globally. In addition, the Sunday Morning loose change offerings are designated for different outreach ministries.
Outreach celebrates and encourages all to be in Christian service by providing information about new and existing outreach ministry opportunities and support for both individuals and groups in their outreach endeavors.
The Calvary UMC Outreach team serves our local, national and world communities by offering financial contributions, volunteer work, and other in-kind support for many projects. Here are some of our outreach projects:
American Red Cross Blood Drives
Annual Middle School and High School Youth Mission Trips

Loose Change Offerings
On the fourth Sunday of each month, Calvary United Methodist Church collects a loose change offering for an organization identified by the Outreach Committee. Loose change means all change, loose bills and any checks with "Loose Change" or the select organization identified in the memo line goes to that organization. This is a way Calvary is able to help out local, state, national and international organizations as part of our outreach/mission support. In 2015, an average of $736.88 was collected on each of these Sundays and in 2016, an average of $757.87 was collected.
