Upcoming Activities
August 31, Sunday. United Methodist Women will be collecting school supplies for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) to ber used to make school kits. These kits proide vital support for the work UMCOR does throughout the world. All items must be NEW and there will be a container in the Fireside area for your contributions. Kit Contents: 1 Pair blunt scissors (rounded tip), 3 pads (or loose leaf) of 8 1/2" x 11" rulled paper, 1 30-centimeter ruler, 1 hand-held pencil sharpener, 6 unsharpened pencils with erasers, 1 erasure (2 1/2" long), and 1 box of 24 crayons (only 24 in the box).
September 7, Sunday. Get ready for "KICK-OFF" Sunday. We have an exciting Fall planned with all kinds of excellent faith opportunities. This Sunday is our Fall kick-off Sunday that will highlight many of the Adult Spiritual Formation opportunities coming to you. Included are the Sunday morning opportunities for Adult Sunday School, three Disciple Study Classes (Disciple 1, 2, & 4), and "Other-Than-Sunday" small group study opportunities. Come see what all the excitement is about!
October 18, Saturday. Save the date. On Saturday, October 18th, the United Methodist Women will hold their Annual Craft Fair 9AM - 3PM. Make sure you attend so you can start your Christmas shopping early and support missions at the same time.
Don't forget to bring your old cell phones to church and put them in the T.E.S.S.A. box.
